“Ik kwam bij jou in een periode dat ik niet gelukkig was in mijn leven op dat moment. Ik was huisvrouw, moeder, geliefde en had een baan. Ik zat in een sleur van veel zorgen voor anderen en hard werken. Geen eigen weg die ik kon bewandelen en waar ik voldoende eigenwaarde uit kon halen.
Wat ik nog heel goed weet is dat ik 3 x bij jou ben geweest en boven de ketel met kruiden heb gestoomd. Eerst om dingen van mijn ancestors, mijn familieballast achter te laten. Dat is goed gelukt.
De tweede keer vond ik een lastige, dat was denk ik de toestand van dat moment Ik snap nu ook waarom. Het was erg verwarrend omdat ik voelde dat mijn man afstand van mij aan het nemen was voor iemand anders. Dat wilde ik toen nog niet accepteren.
De derde keer was wat ik voor de toekomst wilde. Dat is deels al uitgekomen, alleen niet met de persoon die ik in gedachten had (mijn inmiddels ex-man). Ik twijfelde er toen ook al aan. Ik ben intussen mensen (met een beperking) aan het helpen en dat voelt erg goed. En ik weet dat er nog meer komt. Dat zal zich nog gaan ontvouwen.
Wat heel goed voelde was mijn kleding verbranden aan het einde van de derde keer. Dat was bevrijdend en het begin van een proces naar meer zelfstandigheid en eigenwaarde. Die zelfstandigheid heb ik inmiddels en dat bevalt mij heel goed. De eigenwaarde blijft een ongoing proces, vallen en opstaan. En daar heb ik ook weer hulp bij gehad de afgelopen tijd.
Ik heb tijdens de afgelopen jaren een aantal keer aan mijn sessies met jou gedacht. Wat is er veel van uitgekomen en wat een eerste enorme stap heb ik bij jou gemaakt. Mijn dank is groot en de bijzondere ervaring is onuitwisbaar in mijn geheugen geplant. Nog steeds vallen er puzzelstukjes, die ik bij jou gekregen heb op zijn plek. Dat gaat nog even door denk ik zo.
